Leaving from your own port changes the whole trip. You leave home in the morning, drive over, park and board the same day. No flight, no lost luggage, and none of the pre-cruise hotel night you almost always end up paying for when you sail from another city.

Western Caribbean
From the Gulf you comfortably reach places like Cozumel, Costa Maya, Grand Cayman, Honduras or Key West. Eastern Caribbean routes usually sail from the Atlantic coast.
Hurricane season
June 1 to November 30. It does not mean you cannot sail — fares drop and ships route around weather — but it does change which insurance makes sense and how much flexibility to ask for.
Cabin and location
Inside, oceanview, balcony or suite change the price a lot. So does the deck and where you are on the ship: some areas move more, others sit under or above noisy spaces.
What is not included
Gratuities, drinks, shore excursions, wi-fi and specialty dining are almost always extra. We give you the real all-in number before you book, not after.
Documentation
Depending on the itinerary and your immigration status, certain documents may be enough or a passport may be required. It is the first thing we check with you.

Do cruises really sail from Tampa?
Yes. Port Tampa Bay is an active cruise terminal a few minutes from downtown. Which lines and itineraries operate changes every season, so we check availability in real time against your dates and tell you what is actually on offer.
Is it cheaper than flying to Miami to board?
Almost always, even when the cruise fare itself is similar. What you save is round-trip airfare for everyone travelling, the pre-cruise hotel night and the transfers to the port. For a family of four that is usually several hundred dollars that never show up in the advertised cruise price.
Where do I leave the car?
There is parking at the terminal itself and also options off-port. Which one works out better depends on how many nights the cruise is and how many of you travel, because past a certain length the maths flips. We work it out with your dates.
When should I book?
It depends on the season and how flexible you are. The best cabins and launch pricing come out many months ahead; last-minute deals exist too, but with little cabin choice. If you travel with children during school holidays, booking early matters far more.
Do you charge for your advice?
No. Our fee is paid by the operator when you confirm, exactly as it would be if you booked direct. You pay the same price, with the difference that someone is reading the fine print and is reachable if something goes wrong mid-trip.
Do you work in Spanish?
Yes, in Spanish and English, without handing you off to someone else halfway through. A good part of our Tampa Bay clients would rather sort everything out in Spanish, and that includes phone calls if a problem comes up while they are already travelling.
